Description

Summary:

Under the direction of the IT Applications Manager, the IT Applications Analyst administers the implementation and on-going support processes for software applications utilized by the bank. The IT Applications Analyst maintains a thorough knowledge of bank software applications and their use.

Essential Duties and Functions: (include but are not limited to)

  • Responsible for implementing application standards and procedures for the bank.
  • Documenting applications and their use.
  • Resolving escalated Service Desk tickets.
  • Assisting in new implementation projects.
  • Supporting line of business teams in utilizing and optimizing computer application usage.
  • Assisting lines of business in defining requirements related to new and existing applications.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with software vendors to monitor and resolve escalated issues with third-party applications. This includes trouble shooting issues between vendor and core banking products.
  • Responsible for tracking updates and ensuring that the bank is current with respect to all requirements.
  • Coordinating with and supporting the Enterprise PMO in the definition and implementation of corporate level projects.
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Required Experience and Education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related area, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of IT applications experience
  • Two or more years of experience working with software configuration and implementation.

 

Preferred Experience and Education

 

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, or related area, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of IT applications experience
  • Five or more years of experience working with software configuration and implementation.
  • Banking and/or Financial Industry experience.

 

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms and is required to occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

 

Work Environment

Generally works in an office and/or remote environment buy may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting. Team Member will be exposed to moderate stress levels associated with the performance of the job duties described above. There may be extended periods of computer and telephone use while performing job duties. Employee will be intermittently seated, standing and/or walking during the course of a normal business day. While every precaution is taken to avoid exposing employees to dangers in the workplace, working in a financial institution may expose employees to certain hazards in the event of criminal activity including robbery and/or attempted robbery.
