This position is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Temp to perm is an option after the initial 13-week commitment. The medical social worker is responsible for: Developing a comprehensive psychosocial assessment to age-appropriate patient/family needs and concerns. Developing an intervention plan for the purpose of strengthening coping abilities and promoting adjustment. Collaborates with patient, family and health care team to make an appropriate discharge plan based upon medical needs, quality of support system, financial resources, and coping skills. Documents all activities in the electronic medical record.   Position Requirements Candidates must have a master’s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and a Missouri license (LMSW or LCSW).   This position is currently not accepting applications.
