About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Regional Facilities Manager to ensure our facilities operated at maximum potential. The ideal candidate excels at both hands-on and more strategic projects. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. As a qualified candidate you will have knowledge and experience in maintaining, inspecting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operations. Our main goal is safety for all of our employees and as a solution oriented professional, you will ensure the entire team is working under the best conditions. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for building the maintenance team, establishing the PM Program, and spare parts program. Must be able to work at fast pace.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop maintenance team for both sites based upon world class maintenance standards
  • Previous construction and/or project management experience a plus.
  • Enforce GMP's and ensure facilities are maintained to meet GMP compliance.
  • Ensure Departmental KPI's are achieved
  • Assist with determining equipment needed to support production as well participating with the vetting process and equipment decisions.
  • Establish Preventative Maintenance Programs
  • Establish a project management schedule for equipment within the facility
  • Conduct routine maintenance of all facility equipment
  • Conduct annual inspections of critical equipment
  • Schedule required inspections
  • Establish emergency response protocol with key service contractors
  • Be the lead responder for critical equipment malfunctions
  • Develop & manage relationships & agreements between Trulieve and contract service providers
  • Oversee contractors for new construction
  • Establish a maintenance & fabrication shop
  • Develop service logs to monitor equipment condition
  • Establish an in-house inventory of critical components to avoid production delays
  • Evaluate if work can be conducted internally or requires contracted services
  • Support the various departments within the building by executing work orders
  • Assess and recommend maintenance needs as the business grows

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a facilities manager in manufacturing, food production, or nursey/grow operations.
  • Technical or Four-year degree preferred. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • Clean Room/Clean Environment and Food Production experience is a big plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of automated equipment, condition monitoring, HVAC, Mechanical, and Electrical. Knowledge of PLC's, Building Management Systems, and Chiller Systems a plus.
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Additional Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must pass any and all required background checks
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
