Digital Graphic Designer 


The Digital Graphic Designer at Refined Hospitality will assist and support all marketing efforts to communicate, grow and maintain the brand mission. This position includes the creation and distribution of all digital art; management of all Refined Hospitality websites (The Reeds at Shelter Haven, Buckets Margarita Bar, Stone Harbor Pizza Pub, Refined Hospitality, The Grove at Centerton and River House at Odette's); Asset development- photography/videography; creative support and marketing administration.

These duties may be described as, but not limited to:

  • Managing all websites for accuracy, consistency and design. Ensuring that each visually supports the brand image/identity. Evaluate functionality, content and photography to determine/execute changes as needed based on trends, programing needs, asset developments, hours of operations and changes or additions to business models. Manage SEO engineering of each site.
  • Coordinate photo/video assignment for food + drink, lifestyle and architectural photography for asset development. Coordinate shot list, models and art direction with contracted photographers for all properties. Stage and take photographs/video as required.
  • Create and manage digital art to properly communicate each distinct brand and message for all digital media campaigns across property in conjunction with media buying agency. Reporting paths to conversion for each campaign.
  • Utilize working knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive design to create branded HTML emails.
  • Assist the Creative Director as needed by producing art for menus, programing, reader boards, signage, brochures, etc.
  • Assist with in-house programming initiatives to represent the marketing department for special events and in-house programing, as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls to the office and provide administrate support where needed.
  • Participate in weekly business review meetings, BEO/Resume meetings, managers meetings, training and other related meetings as required.
  • Provide purchasing assistance where needed.
  • Act as a community relations ambassador by professionally representing the River House and engaging with community members, business owners and local organizations
  • Develop/maintain knowledge of marketing trends and competitor promotions in the local market/ region. Assist with reports and/or competition data collection.
  • Participate as a team player with all departments. Work with others within the organization to assist in communicating/maintaining brand integrity throughout each operation.
  • Produce weekly reports as requested
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Technical Skills: We* require 5-8 years* of progressive responsibility and experience in management of digital art production; website maintenance and management; asset development in photography/videography, creative support and marketing administration. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required. Advance WordPress experience required.

· Customer Service and Professionalism: Proven experience serving as a role model and setting the standard for all staff to maintain high-quality and consistent customer service.

· Problem Solving, Quality Control, and Priority Assessment: Must evaluate current practices and processes; immediately recognize potential areas of conflict; and suggest ways to improve current business methods and services provided.

· Communication: Commitment to details both verbally and non-verbally and ability to encourage cooperative and consistent levels of communication. the kitchen staff, front-end staff and management. Must understand instructions, read written company information and communicate with little or no additional direction.

· Interpersonal Relationships: Ability to adapt to different personalities of guests, staff and outside vendors without losing focus. Must possess high professional ethics and avoid extreme familiarity or conflicts with others.

· Conflict Management: Capacity to recognize problems when they arise and be able to resolve them appropriately by using good judgement, tact, and initiative according to company policy and procedure. Requires unbiased communication skills to handle all types of conflicts that will occur at all levels of supervision and the ability to negotiate effectively.

· Perform General Physical Activities: Ability to perform physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate to maximum strength including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, handling materials.

· Flexibility: Must be available to work overtime when needed, assist with the workload of others, and perform other duties as assigned.
