Description

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of The Director of Residential Services is responsible for the administrative management of the Level A+, and A, group homes in Camden and Salem Counties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provides direct administrative supervision to the assigned House Managers and provides formal and documented supervision on a monthly basis.
  2. Responsible for managing the timesheets in NovaTime for the assigned House Managers.
  3. Participate in a required weekly meeting with the other IRP Program Supervisor for the collaboration of services regarding key program elements.
  4. Works with the House Managers and Maintenance staff to evaluate the group homes on a monthly basis to ensure that the facilities are in compliance with State Licensing Regulations under N.J.A.C 10:37A - Subchapter 8.
  5. Works with the House Managers and Residential Specialists to ensure that fire drills are completed on a monthly basis as per N.J.A.C 10:37A 8.14.
  6. Works with the House Managers to facilitate hiring of the residential staff.
  7. Works in conjunction with House Managers and Director of Residential Services to ensure that the Group Home Staff are thoroughly trained in the responsibilities of their job and have the resources to complete their job functions.
  8. Completes probationary and annual performance evaluations for the assigned House Managers, in accordance with Catholic Charities current policies.
  9. Works in conjunction with House Managers and Director of Residential Services to appropriately facilitate any staff disciplinary action of the Group Home Staff, ensuring that the process adheres to Catholic Charities current policies and procedures.
  10. Works with the Residential Specialists and House Managers to evaluate consumers referred to the group homes and coordinate with the referents complete the referral process and facilitate admission as needed.
  11. In coordination with the Residential Specialists and other administrative staff of Residential Services, oversee the movement of residents within Residential Services, as well discharges
  12. Ensures that the House Managers complete all necessary client documentation and reviews and approves the documentation.
  13. Will supply emergency coverage to the group homes in the event that a shift is uncovered and the House Manager or Residential Specialist is not available to cover.
  14. Is on call 24/7 for facilities emergencies and other emergencies.
  15. Directly responsible for the development and administration of specific residential sites as assigned by the Program Director.
  16. In collaboration with the Director of Residential Services, oversees the expenditures of the assigned residential sites
  17. In collaboration with the Director of Residential Services, performs quarterly random chart audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
  18. Provide support and case consultation for challenging cases, also assist with skill and therapeutic intervention development when indicated.
  19. Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary by the Director of Residential Services.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: Provides supervision to the House Managers and Residential Specialists.

 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  any of the following:

A master's degree in a mental health, rehabilitation or human services field;

or a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in providing mental health services;

or possess a relevant professional credential, such as: licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, licensed associate counselor, licensed rehabilitation counselor, licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, licensed psychologist, or master of science in nursing.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS NEEDED:  Valid driver’s license is required.

MANDATED PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

Behavioral Health Services Completion of comprehensive competency based training program for individuals providing adult mental health residential services as per N.J.A.C. 10:37A-7.3 required.  Certification of CPI/CPR/First Aid, issued by a certified trainer within 90 days of employment. Completion of essential learning online training.
