SUMMARY

The role of the Marketing Supervisor will be to support the domestic and international sales and marketing team as directed by the Sales & Marketing Manager. Day to day functions will be to assist in the delivering of marketing objectives, goals, and strategies in support of the sales team efforts and initiatives. creative services. This position will also help strategize, develop and implement our marketing plan and maintain our brand standards and internal and external systems. In addition, this position will cross train on key functions, in the Sales & Marketing Department as directed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide sales and marketing support as needed for our domestic and international sales teams
  • Assist Sales Coordinator in the planning, development, and execution of trade events
  • Manage creative services including but not limited to the development of branded materials, POS, vintage debut and Pinnacle program materials
  • Develop and promote branding initiatives consistent with corporate business goals and objectives
  • Manage timing, preparation, assembly and distribution of Distributor Education Kits
  • Manage the timing, preparation, assembly, distribution and tracking of Allocation kits
  • Oversee and execute development, creation, and ordering of printed materials for Sales & Marketing as well as Communications and Guest Relations team
  • Responsible for the categorizing and filing of all photography and digital asset management
  • Assist in the support and maintenance of Opus One brand standards
  • Organize and execute pre-sell mail merge
  • Assist in developing and implementing long-term marketing strategies to support the brand
  • Maintain superior level of communication and partnership with DTC/Communication teams related to marketing strategies
  • Understand vintage dynamics and wine industry trends to help achieve and develop the organizations overall goals and objectives.
  • Assist the Sales & Marketing manager in delivering marketing objectives, goals and strategies to the sales team
  • Ensure brand standards are communicated and maintained by both internal and external stakeholders
  • Active member of the Opus One Brand Team

Position Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience

Minimum five (5) years of wine industry experience (combination of sales, marketing and/or wine-related IT); college degree preferred.

Skills

High level of proficiency with Microsoft office suite and data base management. Knowledge of set up and operation of programs such as Zoom and Teams, etc. Must be proficient in and able to train/assist sales force in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and all marketing software and program additions and upgrades. Experience in Power BI is preferred. Experience in interacting and managing outside consultants and vendors. Knowledge in social media application within the distributor and trade channels.

Excellent command of written and spoken English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
