Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Printing Helper, Evenings (7p-7a Alternate Work Week)  Category Printing   Description JOB DESCRIPTION   POSITION TITLE: Printing Helper TEAM: Printing BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of and reporting to the Printing Leader, the Printing Helper is responsible for assisting all areas of the Flexographic line and Adhesive Laminator.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure correct stock and inks. Make quality related decisions utilizing product specification testing. Mix ink and take viscosities to maintain required colors. Take viscosities of inks/maintain. Prepare the press for the succeeding press run by performing line clearance procedures. Perform and document all the necessary testing of both raw materials and finished products using established company test methods. Perform entries into the computer system for raw materials. Perform all necessary preventative maintenance as required. Provide necessary communication at shift change. Perform other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Web handling fundamentals. Must be able to read standard ruler measurements. Beginner level computer skills. English language verbal and written communication skills. High school math skills. Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities. Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members. Proficient at color matching.
