Description

SUMMARY:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Marketing team in strengthening agent and agency relationships and expanding our business. Incumbent will be responsible for assisting with agency onboarding process, marketing materials, regular updating and organizing the marketing systems and database, working with agents on inquiries, coordinating events, and managing overall logistics in support of the Marketing team. This role will provide analysis, ongoing maintenance of confidential data, and manage all information in an organized and proficient manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Organize and manage tracking of various projects or tasks in support of the overall business initiative as directed.
  • Manage all interactions for the business unit via phone, electronic mailboxes, or other communications proficiently and consistently
  • Review reporting regularly as assigned, which may include processing policy changes, agent or agency related documents, or other reporting such as Underwriting or Operations business unit material
  • Provide direct assistance for inquiries, which may include working with internal or external clients
  • Provide assistance and technical guidance as it relates to policies, billing/commission inquiries, and claims status requests in accordance with department performance standards
  • Effectively relay information associated with Weston’s processes and best practices to provide high quality, professional service by following established departmental standards and procedures
  • Assist with planning events including selecting venue/menu, assisting with all logistics, managing the invite list, drafting PowerPoint presentations, assisting with all the collaterals, and handling all the follow up for the event as well as the planning and organizing of all conventions
  • Assist in the ordering of marketing materials and supplies as well as keeping an updated inventory
  • Keeping the department budget current as well as making sure all marketing related expenses are paid and accounts current
  • Provide assistance with compliance and contracting as requested
  • Flexibility in working hours as needed to support any initiatives in place at a given time
  • Assist the Marketing team and other Departments with other related duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience
  • 02-20 Florida General Lines Agent License and working knowledge of the P&C insurance industry preferred
  • Excellent customer service orientation and project management skills
  • Strong acumen for self-directed time management and ability to meet set deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently, and as a member of a team and juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Strong verbal communication, listening and comprehension skills required. Must have the aptitude to learn, retain, interpret, and effectively access various forms of information
  • Ability to make decisions within position standards, generally applying defined guidelines and procedures
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Must be flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter
