Description

Intern student will also gain an insight into the leading biotech pharmaceutical company and learn by using modeling and simulation help accelerate the development of new treatment for cancer or other therapeutic areas.

We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Master's degree in (but not limited to) Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or PhD in Pharmacometrics, Biostatistics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related fields.

Core Responsibilities:

Intern student will work on his/her own clinical pharmacology/pharmacometrics projects, under the guidance of our senior clinical pharmacology scientists, to conduct literature review and/or perform relevant quantitative analysis to understand clinical trial endpoints in oncology

Primary Skills:

  • Basic knowledge in statistics
  • Understanding on PK/PD and hands-on modeling skills
  • Theory and practice of statistical analysis of results
  • Skills with R/SAS, MATLAB, NONMEM or MONOLIX
  • Basic knowledge in drug development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
 
Position Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and technical writing skills are required.

  • Good communication, organization skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

  • Preference is someone with a computational background than PharmD.
