We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline for a paid summer internship. Goal/Objective: The intern will be trained on the operation and maintenance biotechnology process equipment and will complete assigned ETS projects. Core Responsibilities: Design and develop an ETS project tracking tool. Create a repository for all ETS supporting documents such as manuals and electronic copies of TOPs. Work on an ETS training. The Intern creates links on all training qualification documents for all ETS training supporting documents. Intern goes through the training both for their learning/experience, and so they can make suggestions on how to improve our new employee technical training for ETS engineers   Position Requirements One to two years of undergraduate work toward a B.S. in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline or related discipline Effective user of Microsoft Office application suite, specifically Access, Excel, and Word. Experience with other applications such as PowerBI and other project management applications Hands-on technical skills and automation experience desired Excitement and initiative to gain industry experience and learn new skills Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work environment to meet project milestones in a timely fashion Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) to summarize development work, critical conclusions, and relevance to the bigger picture Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, be able to work onsite in Gaithersburg, MD for the summer, at least 18 years of age, and enrolled in a full-time academic program pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Gaithersburg, MD   This position is currently not accepting applications.
