Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The functions listed below are those that represent most of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary. Supervise, direct, and evaluate assigned staff. Oversee daily athletic operations in relation to parks and departmental programming; develop goals and objectives, schedules and direct athletics events facilitated by the department. Provide oversight to athletic contracts; whereas, communication between youth association and the department are necessary. Review incident/accident reports for all parks and athletic programming. Assist department heads in developing and management of athletic policies and procedures that govern all athletic programming. Organize and manage all athletic background checks to ensure compliance. Assist in registration and facilitate athletic operations. Complete and communicate work orders pertaining to parks and athletic operations.
