A day in the life… Document, maintains, and communicates current client and application virtualization architecture. Deploy forward thinking Data Center Infrastructure that support Customer needs Defines and prioritizes the deployment of critical milestones. Consults and develop customer Data Center and Infrastructure needs. Technical lead for team as it pertains to the deployment of Data Center solutions. Work with Project Management processes and standards within AdvizeX. Learn and understand the fundamental foundations of traditional and hyper converged infrastructure Provide advanced technical services during the post-sales cycle Share information and best practices with other team members Provide support and mentoring to less experienced engineers Produce documentation and provide detailed knowledge transfer to customers VMware installed products Perform technical hands-on integration of various products mentioned below   Position Requirements What we are looking for… Required (AdvizeX) 5+ years’ experience in architecting, designing, and deploying Data Center Hardware solutions, ideally with emphasis on the following: HP, Dell, Nutanix and Cisco Compute and HCI solutions Experience in the understanding of physical and logical Compute, Storage and Network technologies Experience implementing best practices in an Compute and Storage environments Installing, configuring, upgrading and patching a scalable and high availability virtual server environment. Experience in configuration and deployment of Server and Compute management solutions. Thorough knowledge of Virtual Server management and related technologies/processes such as storage, networking, management, monitoring, security, performance, capacity, and availability Ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments Understanding of software defined networking solutions a plus Ability to professionally interact with clients and contractors Experience producing business relevant presentations and technical oriented writing Minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems engineering Core Competencies Passion for learning innovative Compute and Storage technologies Ability to break down problems and identify all their facets Flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done Effective communication skills both internally and externally Highly organized and detail oriented Optional Public Cloud Solutions including Hybrid Cloud integration Experience deploying converged and hyper-converged solutions such as Nutanix, VxRAIL, or similar What you’ll get… A career with a company where you will be challenged, respected, and valued.
