Hui Huliau Technology Services, a subsidiary of Hui Huliau is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Operator I in Waianae, HI

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Workstyle: Perform tasks that are generally routine and manual with high attention to detail consistently over time.

Performance: Deliver high quality products and consistently impress customers.

Team Player: Build positive relationships with others to achieve common goals inside and outside of the company.

Reliable: Manage time, to ensure being at work on time and effectively get the job done regardless of the level of supervision.

  • Utilize the 3-D printer computer systems to construct the build and make any required adjustments to correct and/or cosmetically improve the final part as needed.
  • Performing routine and preventive maintenance on all the equipment in this area.
  • Communicating with technical support personnel to resolve problems or install system enhancements.
  • Training other operators on the 3-D printing system, maintenance, and secondary processes.
  • Perform secondary processing of components. This may include painting, sanding, drilling, threading, tumbling or other techniques that may be necessary to produce final parts with the required surface finish, appearance, or design attributes.
  • Order and maintain inventory of all materials used and other related supplies.
  • Perform quality testing as required and analyze this data to determine if adjustments need to be made to ensure consistent quality.
  • Work closely with customers/companies to ensure production meets demand.
  • Adhere to best manufacturing processes while in a manufacturing environment.
  • Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions to solve problems.
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges by taking initiative.
  • Demonstrate written, verbal, and active listening communication skills.
  • Utilization of 3-D printing knowledge to assist in the sale of products or services.
  • Communicating with design personnel inside/outside the company to provide the necessary input parameters for CAD models into the 3-D printing system
 
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Position Additive Manufacturing Operator I  
Position Requirements

Required Experience / Education :

  • High school or GED equivalent required
  • 1-3 years manufacturing/mechanic experience
  • Understanding of the operation of personal computers
  • 1 year of prior mechanical inspection or shop experience

Preferred Experience:

  • 3D Printer Operation experience (Professional or Hobby)
  • Working knowledge of inspection equipment (caliper, ruler, etc.), blueprint reading, and general dimensioning and tolerance (GDT).
  • CAD training, including 3D design and surfacing
  • Course work related to CAD/CAM, CNC programming, and/or personal computers
  • One (1) year or more of CAD operation
  • Sales Assoicate experience
