We work closely with our sales team as their technical partners in all the phases of the sales process - from evangelizing and demonstrating the technology to prospects, to answering any technical questions around our solutions and how they solve business problems. A day in the life… • Align with account executives to construct and represent Advizex solutions • Use knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise and consultative sales skills to assess and educate customers on value of Advizex solutions • Use knowledge and understanding of Advizex OEM partners, such as Microsoft, VMware, Amazon, Hashicorp, Dell EMC, and HPE, along with other relevant technologies to credibly and persuasively articulate the features and benefits of their services and products to the customer • Build in-depth knowledge of clients' technical and business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into Advizex solution opportunities • Act as the technical lead on complex proposals; conduct final review, edit proposals and approve technical content • Determine how industry trends, OEM roadmaps, and advances in technology may impact the customer • Develop successful relationships with the Advizex sales team, partners and customers. • Deliver quality documentation to support pre-sales efforts, including solution Bill of Materials, Configurations, and Proposals • Develop and propose technology solutions that meet customers' needs and functional requirements and are in alignment with Advizex customer strategy, delivery capabilities, and OEM partner relationships • Be available for some travel, typically 20% of time or less, and typically limited to short-duration trips for customer appointments and longer trips for training and/or conferences   Position Requirements What we are looking for… Required 5+ years’ experience in architecting, designing, and deploying private and hybrid cloud solutions, ideally with emphasis on the following: Microsoft Azure, VMware vRealize Automation, VMware NSX, VMware Cloud on AWS, VMware End User Computing Products Other desired capabilities include experienced use of the following platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platforms, Rancher, Morpheus, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Kubernetes Understand and articulate the Advizex Cloud Framework to sales and customers Backup and disaster recovery experience with an emphasis on site reliability engineering Possess deep data center expertise including but not limited to networking, security, compute & storage Considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or many technologies for the team to leverage Strong interpersonal skills with excellent presentation skills Deep and broad enterprise architecture experience; able to articulate design decisions Experience in the construction of proposals and conceptual cloud architecture Willingness to dive deep on technologies quickly and accurately and present available options to customers Core Competencies Sees the “big picture” of an organization—how the key drivers of their business relate to each other and work together Ability to build in-depth knowledge of clients' technical and business priorities, challenges, and initiatives Believes that the outcomes are the most important part of any client engagement Has belief in one’s own ideas and capability to be successful Prepares for group meetings by identifying the key issues, goals, and stakeholder expectations Self-motivated to learn new technologies with limited amount of time What you’ll get… A career with a company where you will be challenged, respected, and valued.
