The Outpatient Supervisor provides leadership within the Progressive Partial Hospitalization and Acute Outpatient programs. Ensures quality patient care is provided, and that daily activities, policies, and procedures are implemented and accomplished. Assists in interviews, and evaluates staff performance. Coordinates patient transportation services to insure quality outcomes for patients, and internal/external customs. Responsible for documentation of services delivered, and case management services provided to program participants. Serves as point person in communications with the program medical director, and all attending physicians as well.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Three (3) years post-graduate experience, with an emphasis on program development; supervision preferred.
Licensure: Professional or clinical license required e.g. LPC, LCSW or RN
Additional Requirements: CPR certification required. Crisis Prevention (CPI) required during orientation. Verbal de-escalation required annually. May require flexible hours.
SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of a wide range of psychosocial, cognitive and/or developmental disorders.
Basic computer knowledge.
Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
