We are seeking an undergraduate student majoring in chemistry, industrial hygiene, occupational health or similar field for a paid summer internship.  Goal/Objective:  Chemical and Exposure Compliance for various projects. The intern will create a control system that will ensure stronger chemical management of multiple sites and a robust chemical inventory.  Chemical Purchasing and Inventory Process Research Chemical Storage Compatibility Reorganization Data Collection for various industrial hygiene projects Web page design   Competitive wages   Position Requirements The ideal candidate should have: Basic chemistry skills Closed chemical container handling Proficiency in MS Office Suite Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong presentation skills Ability to take and follow direction, take initiative, and work independantly Ability to be mobile (this is not solely a desk position) Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, be able to work onsite in Gaithersburg, MD for the summer, at least 18 years of age, and enrolled in a full-time academic program pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree      Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Gaithersburg, MD   This position is currently not accepting applications.
