We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team on 2nd Shift! Lead our 2nd shift production team, providing work direction and guidance throughout the shift Maintain a high level of visibility with employees, using a hands-on approach to engage and communicate throughout the shift Develop a high performing team with high levels of employee morale Manage shift operations and prioritize labor based on production schedule Review staff performance throughout shift and resolve problems to ensure standards and quality levels are met Identify and effectively address, manage, and communicate employee issues with regard to attendance, productivity, quality, or other performance-related areas. Ensures all necessary inspections and paperwork are completed to comply with quality system procedures Tracks and reports shift performance Collaborate effectively with other shifts and departments to maximize success Partners with Human Resources to interview and select candidates. Trains new employees and existing Operators Maintain a positive work environment that is aligned with our Culture and Core Values Promote safety by ensuring safe work habits Create and maintain a respectful work environment by listening, seeking facts to support decisions, managing one’s own reactions, and addressing unacceptable behavior. Help associates succeed through performance management. Provide coaching and performance communication to support development. Support and foster an environment of continuous improvement by encouraging associates to challenge existing processes and implement solutions that enhance the overall effectiveness of the operation. Maintain time and production records   Position Requirements High School Diploma/GED required. Associates or Bachelors preferred 4+ years working in a manufacturing environment. Promote employee engagement and collaboration in continuous improvement initiatives Intermediate knowledge of computer databases and systems. Preferably Epicor and Microsoft Office Suite. Maintain a positive attitude and readily adapts to changes necessary to support the business. Walking and stair climbing is required with in the office/shop areas. Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs. Sitting, standing, turning head and torso, reaching, grasping bending and flexing of arms and legs wrists and fingers are additional physical requirements. Ability to read and comprehend production instructions, policy manuals, safety instructions, short correspondence and business memorandums.
