JOB SUMMARY:           Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the service area.  Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the service area.     


Expense control and analysis.  Track funding or expense problems.  Monitor cost allocation in accordance with budget plan.  Analyze internal processes and implement procedural or policy changes to improve fiscal and business operations.

Facilities, equipment and technology.  Assist in securing and overseeing leasing/purchasing contracts for major equipment.  Monitor equipment/facility needs and provide analysis and recommendations.  Serve as point person for in-house maintenance and oversight of work order requests for repairs/maintenance.

Technology.  Serve as liaison/point person for IT needs.  Coordinate equipment/software purchases with IT department.  Provide oversight of telecommunications system and mail courier system to ensure proper operations and resolution of problems.

Resource development.  Assist with identification of new funding opportunities.  Assist with the development of grant proposals. 

OTHER DUTIES:  Monitor Receivables and coordinate with Program Directors and Billing Department to ensure timely and effective follow-up to all suspense/firewall/denials

Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university OR 5 years of related office experience.  Proficient working with Microsoft products.
