Core Responsibilities: Understand the importance of gene therapy products-AAV Gain experience with basic lab equipments and advance analytical methods (like HPLCs, capillary electrophoresis etc.) that are crucial during the development of pharmaceutical products   Primary Duties:  Optimization of DNA extraction/purification methods from Adeno Associated Virus (AAV) Developed HPLC-based analytical method for measuring the purity of extracted DNA   Position Requirements Position Requirements: Basic knowledge and skills in lab techniques such as buffer preparation, use of pH meter/ balance, analytical techniques, like UV-Vis, and fluorescence Some experience with DNA/RNA extraction/quantification, and HPLC/UPLC (is plus) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4+   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Gaithersburg, MD   This position is currently not accepting applications.
