JOB SUMMARY:Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the service area. Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the service area.


  1. Expense control and analysis. Track funding and expenses for multiple programs. Monitor cost allocation in accordance with budget plan. Analyze internal processes and implement procedural or policy changes to improve fiscal and business operations. Productivity report development and review related to programs under medical services activity management.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for front office staff functions and the training of front office staff in these policies, procedures and technology required for implementation. Collaborates with report development and review.
  3. Facilities, equipment and technology. Assist in securing and overseeing leasing/purchasing contracts for major equipment. Monitor equipment/facility needs and provide analysis and recommendations. Serve as point person for in-house maintenance and oversight of work order requests for repairs/maintenance.
  4. Technology. Serve as liaison/point person for IT needs. Coordinate equipment/software purchases with IT department. Provide oversight of telecommunications system and mail courier system to ensure proper operations and resolution of problems.
  5. Resource development. Assist with identification of new funding opportunities. Assist with the development of grant proposals and fee for service tracking.

OTHER DUTIES:Work with other department leaders in development of budgets.

Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field strongly preferred. 3-5 years of related office experience.
