Our client is seeking to hire a Program Manager to join our team near Washington, DC Navy Yard. Upon award, you will: Lead a team of 80 to 90 Columbia Group employees and subcontractors supporting our NAVSEA customer in ship acquisition. Provide expert advice to our customer in the development and implementation of acquisition strategies and plans. Assist in resolving shipbuilding issues ranging from integration of government furnished equipment (GFE) through trial card management and shipbuilder's cost variance.   Position Requirements Required Education, Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree 15+ years of NAVSEA shipbuilding program/project experience. Experience shipbuilding for amphibious or "T-class" ships would be valuable. U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Preferred Master's degree in Engineering, Hard Science, or Business. 15+ years DoD/Navy program management, specifically NAVSEA  and related experience in shipbuilding program management. Project Management Professional (PMP). Amphibious Ship experience highly desirable. This position is contingent upon and subject to the award of the contract from the government.
