Job Summary

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for a variety of human resource functions.

Essential Functions

  • Performs recruiting tasks targeted at attracting top talent. This includes posting job requisitions, screening candidates, setting interviews, completing onboarding process and conducting new hire orientations.
  • Develops and participates in remote and onsite employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintains HR inbox and respond to human resources-related inquiries.
  • Assists the Business Manager with the processing of company payroll.
  • Assist with the administration of benefits programs including health insurance, 401(k), and EAP.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of multi-state federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with registering and maintaining state requirements for staff outside of Arizona.
  • Creates and distributes an internal email for the monthly employee spotlight award.
  • Coordinates employee development plans and assist with performance management.
  • Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
  • Assists in revising the employee handbook, ensuring compliance for all states in which eCatalyst operates.
  • Conducts competitor analyses, gathering information on compensation, benefits, and additional offerings.
  • Assist in the development, documentation, and recommendation of continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures, and programs.
  • In conjunction with the HR team, ensures HR goals and key performance indicators (KPI's) meet or exceed standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or Equivalent Education
  • 3+ year(s) experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Proficiency in human resource processes and procedures (recruiting, hiring, employee relations, benefits administration, etc.).
  • Familiarity with and working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Excellent technical skills, including experience with Paychex.
  • Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent verbal, nonverbal, visual, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • 4+ years of HR Generalist experience.
  • HR related certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.).
  • Healthcare Industry experience.
  • Paychex experience.
  • Multi-state experience.
