Job Summary:

Provide leadership for the company's Total Rewards and HRIS strategy, design, implementation and management. Responsible for the development and execution of compensation and benefit strategies that drive engagement and attract top talent.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all aspects of compensation programs to include data, processes, systems, salary review, performance review, bonus programs, long-term incentive programs, salary and skill/job level benchmarking, and more
  • Manage our benefits programs including purchasing, negotiating, and renewing plans and packages, managing 401(k) schemes, and educating employees about benefits
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the benefits function that results in effective and efficient management of programs and partners (negotiate favorable renewals, manage open enrollment processes, robust employee communication plans, wellness and health education initiatives, etc.).
  • Lead and manage HR information systems and platforms
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition in the development of market-competitive compensation packages to attract high caliber talent while managing internal equity.
  • Drive strategy and implement efficient business solutions in the areas of total rewards and HRIS
  • Partner with other HR personnel on key initiatives related to total reward and HR data, as well as offering information and tools to support recruiting and employee experience and engagement
  • Interface with employees and managers to respond to queries, offer transparency into HR plans and cycles, and take accountability for reward and HR data-related issues
  • Work closely with Payroll, Accounting and Finance, and IT to collaborate and ensure seamless integration of compensation and benefits into corporate systems.
  • Develop techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting data.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Position Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Ten years of progressively responsible experience in Compensation & Benefits to include analysis, plan design and program administration.
  • Demonstrated success developing Executive Compensation plans and preparing materials for Executive Committees and Board of Directors.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
  • Experience in researching and designing health and welfare benefit plan offerings and managing third party providers.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance and cost effective of programs and policies.
  • Experience with salary surveys, benchmarking analysis and job classifications.
  • Experience with Total Rewards components; base and incentive pay, work/life benefits, base and ancillary benefits, market pricing and pay for performance.
  • Experience working in the food or technical services industry strongly preferred.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and to handle other
  • Communications/computer components
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Potential exposure to odors, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, and microbiological pathogens
