Position Sales Engineer - Middle East  
Description

Activu is seeking a proven Sales Engineer to join our EMEA team based in the Middle East. Current openings exist for qualified personnel based in Riyadh KSA and Dubai UAE.

Activu is seeking a professional and experienced sales engineer with a proven track record of success establishing market leadership with an innovative technology company.

The Sales Engineer’s primary role is to maximize sales of Activu solutions in the assigned market segment(s) by ensuring Activu’s platform, visability, is selected as the basis of design with systems integration partners, market consultants, and end user clients.

 

Responsibilities:


Technical Sales Relationship
Own the technical relationship with strategic clients, systems integration partners, and consultants.
Work with partners and the Activu sales team to formulate winning account strategies.
Be a sought-after advisor to assist in meeting the needs of Activu’s target market.
Continually develop and expand product and system and competitive product knowledge.

Software Demonstrations
Deliver frequent, effective demonstrations of Activu solutions for each market segment served by
the company, tailored in technical depth for systems integrators, prospective clients, and industry
consultants. Be comfortable and in command in small and large technical audiences.
Take initiative to continually refine demonstrations to existing and new use cases that incorporate
new features and the latest relevant content.
Train and actively manage partner cloud portal accounts to ensure partners fully understand the
Activu value proposition and are skilled in presenting it to their clients.

Customer Requirements Gathering
Work with system integration partners and consultants to
• gather, document, and confirm customer needs and requirements
• translate customer requirements into compelling, industry leading high level designs
• conduct successful proof of concepts around Activu’s value proposition
• ensure Activu solutions are the basis of design in official tender documents

 
Position Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience in pre-sales in software solutions with a product or services firm: product company experience preferred
  • Strong base knowledge of IT networking
  • Hands on experience installing and deploying software in various environments

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in some aspect of the mission critical control room / command center market
  • Knowledge of IT Operations (ITSM) and Cyber Security (SIEM, SOAR) platform tools is a plus
  • Experience in client needs analysis, addressing these in POCs, and translating them into high-level system designs.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Fluency in both English and Arabic.
  • Expert proficiency with MS Office, including Visio or similar
  • Ability to work as a team across time zones, yet work eagerly and independently on complex problems
  • Exhibit excellent project planning and time management skills
