ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
LEADERSHIP
This role reports to the Senior Quality Manager and will have leadership responsibilities for a team of Quality Inspectors.
Serve as a member of the Quality Leadership Team, setting and driving the overall strategy for the Quality Inspection team by displaying good analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills through critical thinking.
Display a well-organized approach for a strong bias for action through establishment of goals and objectives for the Quality organization.
Ensure actions taken in the organization are aligned to Extant's Business and Quality Culture.
REPORTING
Accountable to proactively communicate all quality metrics for each business unit.
Provide regular quality performance updates to the Senior Quality Manager.
Build a high performing team within the quality group through displaying strong coaching and interpersonal development skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus within Extant.
MINUMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in related field plus a minimum of 2 years direct industry experience in a quality production or final inspection role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
0 to 2 years of people leadership experience, the preferred candidate will have had direct people responsibility for 2 or more years.
