Description

The Commercial Real Estate Manager will support VinFast US store development and have overall responsibility and accountability for all real estate development and construction management activities in the Northern California area.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Assess titles, property values, permitted uses and site conditions through research, outreach, site walks, surveys, and market trends
  • Prepare letters of intent for the purchase and sale agreement, lease agreements or ground lease agreements
  • Act as an intermediary to resolve conditions required to close the real estate transaction and work closely with various stakeholders including design, construction, finance and legal
  • Produce real estate market research reports, partnership models, contracts, due diligence documents, and other business administration paperwork for real estate transactions
  • Ongoing interaction/collaboration with internal VinFast Departments and external contractors/clients in a timely manner to stay within key project schedules
  • Support Director of Store Development facilitate projects, review, and design and construction budgets & timelines, ensure orders are processed with tracking of all invoices, and payments made in relation to all projects
  • Actively source potential sites, prepare presentation decks and present to Real Estate Committee
  • Network with local, regional, and national landlords and real estate brokers
  • Assist team with administrative needs including but not limited to construction invoices and expense tracking
  • Track rent commencement dates, defaults, chargebacks, and related exposures
  • Organize and maintain database of site related documents including legal documents
  • Collaborate with Director of Store Development to execute strategic store development objectives
  • Performs other duties as assigned
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, sales, real estate, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of progressive work experience in real estate, land acquisition, real estate sales, and project management with at least 3 years of working in leadership role
  • Experience in commercial real estate
  • Experience cultivating relationships with contractors, real estate clients, real estate brokers and corporate customers.
  • Professional communicator and presenter
  • Global, startup, and/or direct experience in the automotive/EV space preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a face paced work environment
  • Real Estate License a plus
  • Experience in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as project management skills
