But most of all, we are the path that science can forge towards public safety, community trust, and racial equity.   Location Remote   Close Date   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Description Position Description This role will support the organization's emerging strategic partnerships and technical assistance work owned by the Triage Response Team. Drawing upon our rich understanding of policing, and from what we've learned in our own reducing harm work and the science to reimagine public safety, this workstream provides technical assistance and advisory support to redesign public safety in communities around the country. This role reports to the VP of Triage Response and works in close collaboration with the Justice Initiatives Portfolio's administrative team. For initial request intake and project implementation following CPE project approval, this role will be responsible for the items below. Key responsibilities Coordinating and scheduling calls with community partners and key project stakeholders Joining calls with stakeholders to take notes and synthesize next steps/after-actions Tracking communications with stakeholders to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for engagement Supporting the project coordination through the use of Salesforce, Asana, Sharefile, Google, and Slack Supporting the planning of community event logistics Identifying community stakeholders and conducting background research on groups to build our network of partners Brainstorming and assisting in the creation of action plans for potential collaborations with community organizations, municipalities, universities, CPE, and/or our law enforcement partners Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree Passionate about social justice issues Experience as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Project Coordinator, or similar role Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive in surfacing problems and finding solutions Comfortable taking initiative and 'managing up' to move tasks forward Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Proficient in G Suite, specifically Gmail, Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms Ability to learn and become fluent in Asana, Salesforce, Sharefile, Zoom, and Slack   EOE Statement The Center for Policing Equity strives to build a diverse team that is inclusive of multiple perspectives and welcoming for people of all backgrounds.
