In order to maintain our high standards of care, we need your expertise on our Leadership Team to help take our current risk management and patient safety programs to the next level.

Responsibilities-

  • Develops standards of performance and related metrics. Performs audits, investigations, training, and consultation with the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensures compliance with state/federal laws, regulatory agencies, and internal policies-
    • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
    • Joint Commission
      • Patient Safety
      • Infection Control
    • Health Services and Resource Administration
      • Bureau of Primary Health Care
      • Patient Centered Medical Home
      • 340B Pharmacy Program
      • Federal Tort Claims Act
    • Credentialing/Privileging
    • Peer Review
    • Grant compliance/Reporting
  • Oversees development of policies and procedures to comply with new or existing laws or internal policies.
  • Creates sound internal controls and monitors adherence.
  • Proactively audits processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses or risk.
  • Conducts investigations of compliance deviations or failures.
  • Ensures that compliance risks are addressed, and corrective action is taken.
  • Works closely with management to drive compliance as a core competency.
  • Establishes education programs and provides and/or promotes continuing training & education

Required Qualifications –

  • Certification and/or advanced degree preferred
    • CPCO -Certified Professional Compliance Officer
    • CCEP -Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional
    • CRCM-Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager
    • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of compliance/risk management experience
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health care systems including state and federal policy
  • Salary: $80,000-$100,000
