Job Summary:

Partners with site leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. Responsible for administering HR Policies, Procedures and record keeping relating to all phases of human resources. Manage the coordination of the Human Resources Information and related record-keeping functions to support the informational needs of the business.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting (to include Affirmative Action and EEO regulations) are in compliance
  • Oversee records of employee transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting
  • Train managers in employee relations to include hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
  • Maintain and enter data into various human resources databases in a timely manner; ensuring the accuracy of information as well as confidentiality
  • Ensure new hires and new promotions are set up for Development Feedback assessment.
  • Provide user training and tracking on performance management to include performance reviews, process, feedback, overdue documents and coaching and tools.
  • Work with the HRIS to provide summary reports and analysis of performance data and metrics
  • Serves as first point of contact for employee relations issues and works with management and employees to resolve issues
  • Coordinate employee relations activities
  • Manage and track employees on OPT, Visa or other permitted worker status to ensure that authorization is current
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.


  • Does not directly supervise others.


Position Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 5 years of HR Management/Generalist experience to include multi-state locations.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy to include social media.
  • Experience working in the food or technical services industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to query, collect, evaluate, organize and analyze data relating to candidate sourcing.
  • Working knowledge of OFCCP and legal requirements related to employment preferred.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and to handle other
  • Communications/computer components
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Potential exposure to odors, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, and microbiological pathogens
