Our client is seeking to hire an Engineering Program Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. Upon award, you will:

  • Oversee and manage contractor support operations.
  • Provide direction of engineers and technical experts in contract execution.
  • Provide accounting for contractual expenses.
  • Provide project management and system engineering support to include but not limited to oversight of contract functions, performance, and labor utilization.
  • Provide recommendations for moving personnel to new projects, tasks, or programs as there are dips in activities.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • PMP certification.
  • At least 10 years’ documented experience working in marine industry, in vessel design and construction for ACAT I programs. 
  • At least 5 years’ documented experience in engineering management of a contractor support team for ACAT I program.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Navy, USCG, ABS, and/or commercial ship design rules and regulations.
  • Experienced in MS Office software and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to interact and present technical information verbally and in writing (reports, specifications, drawings, etc.) to internal and external customers.
  • May require up to 50% travel.
  • U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

 

This position is contingent upon and subject to the award of the contract from the government. You will be hired on a contingency basis.

Some TCG customers require individuals providing support to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. COVID-19 vaccination status may affect employment opportunities.
