Summary

The VP of Operations ensures the Trulieve business structure collaborates effectively and meets goals according to an overarching timeline and budget. This position oversees state and regional directors but has strong influence on the effective administration of all functions. This position keeps Trulieve running smoothly by ensuring the plans and strategy developed by the CEO are successfully implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
    • Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement
    • Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO
    • Drives contingency planning, ensuring organization can manage unexpected financial situations, market shifts and periods of both growth and contraction
    • Contributes to new business evaluation, growth budgeting, and customer pricing strategy
  • Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational profitability outcomes are met
    • Coordinates and ensures strong execution across the Leadership Team in accordance with the strategic plan and drives strong cross-team systems
    • Helps to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
    • Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
  • Directly oversees state and regional directors
    • Works in close coordination with production, sales, finance, human resources, IT, legal, marketing, and other departments.
  • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary

 

 
Position Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience preferably within private equity, cannabis, or manufacturing with Director or higher-level responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred: MBA
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
  • Knowledge of cannabis cultivation preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through change
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening
