Bemidji Aviation Services, Inc. is looking for a Metroliner III Floater Captain for our Fargo, ND base. This position operates various scheduled routes from KFAR on cargo feeder contracts. The route is subject to change.
Pilots are responsible for safely and efficiently flying their assigned air cargo route in accordance with all FAA and TSA regulations. They are also responsible for ensuring flight plans are filed, checking weather/NOTAMs, and conducting pre-flights and post-flights. Applicants must possess excellent customer service skills and may be needed to help with the loading and unloading of their aircraft. Competitive salary varies by assigned aircraft, route, and position. Metroliner III qualified Captains may earn $80,500 annually. $6,500 annual retention bonus starts the second year of employment. Full-time pilots are eligible for our standard benefits package, which includes health insurance (including the option for dental), 401K with company match, ESOP, life insurance, PTO, AFLAC, and company reimbursement for FAA medicals. Encore Air Cargo also has an ATP/CTP course assistance program available. We are an employee-owned company with ESOP eligibility beginning after one year of employment. Pilots must meet the following 135 qualifications and flight time experience requirements:
- Commercial/Instrument AMEL or ATP
- 1,200 Total Flight Time (1,700 preferred)
- 500 Cross Country
- 100 Night
- 75 Instrument (actual+simulated)
- Valid 1st or 2nd Class Medical
- Turbine experience and/or 500 hours multi preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
