QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Acquires diagnostic images, accurately recognizes anatomical structures and flows. Determines all possible pertinent information has been obtained from the study. Professional Growth Performance Improvement Fiscal Responsibility Communication Safety Patient's First. EXPECTED BEHAVIORS: Reviews physician order for specific patient history and clinical data. Obtains additional patient history from patient/family. Obtains quality images for interpretation. Seeks educational opportunities to improve knowledge/skill. Participates in identifying or recommending areas for improvement. Completes work in an efficient, timely manner that is conducive to team work and cost containment. Communicates in a clear, concise and professional manner. Performs patient care following safety principles, OSHA guidelines and infection control guidelines. Provides patient care following the Patient's First Commitment.   Position Requirements CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) ADDITIONAL LICENSURE/CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: RDCS -Registered Diagnostic Cardio Sonographer is preferred ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Mandatory Annual Continuing Education: Customer Service, Fire and Safety, Confidentiality-HIPAA, Infection Control, Corporate Compliance.
