Position Pool Landscaper  
Description

Under the supervision of the Pool Maintenance Manager, the Pool Landscaper provides assistance for the seasonal landscaping of the grounds of the Kaukauna Municipal Pool. This position is a part-time; seasonal position.

MAJOR POSITION DUTIES

  1. Maintains a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor at all times while working with patrons and staff.
  1. Performs landscaping tasks such as, but not limited to: mowing; raking; digging; weeding; trimming; emptying garbage, recycling and yard waste; loading and unloading materials & equipment; operates hand tools and small power tools; applies herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers; aerates.
  1. Completes all required employment administrative duties and paperwork. Punches in prior to working and punches out after working. Submits biweekly time sheets through Ascentis Self-Service Portal. Submits administrative paperwork in a timely fashion.
  1. Other Duties as Assigned by the Pool Maintenance Manager (or His/Her Designee).
 
Position Requirements

The Pool Landscaper must possess:

  1. Considerable knowledge of methods, equipment and materials used in landscaping.
  2. The ability to perform heavy manual work for extended periods in all kinds of weather.
  3. The ability to establish and maintain effective public and working relationships.
  4. The ability to stoop, kneel, climb, bend, lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds
  5. The ability to sustain prolonged visual concentration.
  6. The ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
