Description

IMTAS has an immediate opening for a Senior Capture Manager responsible for determining the requirements to successfully win opportunities to include development and articulation of the solutions required, win strategies, themes, and discriminators. Come serve as a key member of the IMTAS Business Development/Capture Team and take advantage of great opportunities for growth. We are looking to deeply invest in a driven, self-reliant individual who is looking to meaningfully contribute and excel in this business-critical role.

Your primary responsibility is to develop and work a pipeline of government contract opportunities in a way that puts IMTAS in the best possible position to win. The chosen individual will be tasked with identifying, negotiating and winning business within the US Government. While you will be primarily concentrating on BD outreach efforts, you will also actively participate in shaping and executing on long-term strategic business development goals. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining extensive knowledge of current and developing US Government market conditions, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities and supporting capture and proposal efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Drive opportunities from capture decision to contract award, managing bid strategies and overseeing the development of the technical, management and cost strategies and associated proposal volumes.
  • Identify the need or benefits of teaming partners and the associated oversight of required agreements.
  • Support the Business Development Team with shaping the RFP, determining customer intimacy and identifying strengths and weaknesses of the organization in pursuit of the opportunity.
  • Determine the most likely requirements to successfully win opportunities to include development and articulation of the solutions required, win strategies, themes, and discriminators.
  • Develop solutions, implementations and management of the capture plan and associated strategy into the proposal end-product and corporate offering.
  • Target market, identify and qualify new business opportunities and lead business development teams through the capture process to include: customer contact, competitive intelligence, gap analysis, and bid team structuring; development of the value proposition, win strategy and offer design; price-to-win and design to cost; bid a business case; proposal product development, color reviews, submission, final proposal revisions, hand-off for implementation, lessons learned continuous improvement, new business budgeting, and cost control.
  • Responsible for core market sustainment and new business growth; and new business opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, and capture.
  • Develops strategies and responses to Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought
  • Prepares and presents capability statements and other new business information presentations


Qualifications

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of Capture Management experience with proven capability to execute a capture strategy and win pursuits
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Proven capability to act as a Senior Capture Manager for various size pursuits
  • Experienced with rapid IDIQ task orders and responses to short deadlines
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, fast-paced team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop proposal objectives from vaguely defined requirements
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain productive customer and industry participant networks are essential
  • Experience supporting a diverse set of customers such as the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of Commerce, and Intelligence community
  • Experience working with a wide range of technical service offerings to include security, biometrics, technical innovations, and support services is preferred
