Come join our team!   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Number of Openings 1   Description Blue Marble Productions, Inc. is a world-class developer, processor, and co-packer of branded and private label alcohol and non-alcohol-based products for the beverage industry. The Sanitation Technician is responsible for properly cleaning the production floor all production equipment to ensure a clean facility while maintaining proper safety procedures. Keep work areas up to housekeeping and GMP Standards Operate floor scrubber and transfer and apply cleaning chemicals and sanitizers to production equipment when needed Perform basic CIP, including testing of chemicals and basic troubleshooting Maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their compatibilities for correct identification and application Communicate all operational and/or safety issues to leadership to avoid accidents and unnecessary downtime Ensure personal safety, food safety, and quality protocols are followed, especially with a focus on adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs). Consistently meet production needs and goals while making efforts to minimize product shrink and downtime Other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager   Position Sanitation Technician   Position Requirements Requirements:  High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Must be 21 years of age 1 year of experience running and troubleshooting similar equipment in a food and beverage environment preferred Must have great attention to detail, essential problem-solving methods and initiative Must have the ability to learn and apply policies, procedures, standards and guidelines Must have the ability to perform assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner with minimal supervision\Must have the ability to receive, understand and proactively respond to direction from supervisors/managers and other members of leadership Must have the ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes Must be able to read, recognize and speak the English language Must be able to work overtime when needed Working Conditions: Must be able to stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift up to 50 pounds depending on job task Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to operate carts, dollies, and hand trucks of up to 100 lbs.
