With this Internship we are currently seeking candidates to support Safety, Health, and Sustainability/Environmental teams in research and project work.  We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, Energy Management, Safety Sciences, and Mechanical or Industrial Engineering related fields. AstraZeneca has a strong safety culture, and recently in 2020 announced Ambition Zero Carbon, where we aim to emit zero carbon emissions across our operations by 2025. They will also help with various administrative tasks to improve communications and strategic development.     Primary Duties: Assist in data analysis and visualization, SHE & Sustainability communications, generate articles for the Operations SHE News Now (OSNN), contribute to Sustainability roadmap & deliverables by leading a deep dive technical project, assist biologics sites in natural resource efficiency project planning.   Position Requirements Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, Energy Management, Safety Sciences, and Mechanical or Industrial Engineering related fields. Dashboard development Basic knowledge of environmental compliance and sustainability Passion for Sustainability and workplace safety/health. Technical writing and communication Preferred: exposure to human performance, lean, environmental compliance, or energy monitoring. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0+ Data analytics skills (preferred) Good communication, organization skills and ability to visualize data.   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Frederick, MD   This position is currently not accepting applications.
