We are currently seeking junior, senior and master/PhD level candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor's degree in (but not limited to) Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biology, or Chemical Engineering. Location: Frederick, MD Objectives: Learn proficiency in Raman Spectroscope Primary Duties: Use of Raman Spectroscopy to develop methods for testing for buffer contaminants. Requirements: Laboratory experience is required. Prior Raman experience is beneficial, but not required. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0+   Position Requirements 2 years of undergraduate work toward a B.S. in Chemical (preferred) Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Other technical degrees relative to Biotech and Pharmaceutical manufacturing may be considered. Prior GMP experience biotech manufacturing environment a plus. Previous experience with fermentation/cell culture, CIP, SIP, centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, and operating automation systems a plus. Hands on mechanical, electrical and/or electronic skills a plus Strong interpersonal skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential. Good documentation, writing and communication skills are required.
