For more information please visit www.astrazeneca.com .   Description We are currently seeking any sophomore, junior or senior who is working towards obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Engineering, Public Health Science, or other science related field. This position is for a Manufacturing Technical Operations Intern within the manufacturing department. Objectives:          Partner with Manufacturing and OE to perform value stream mapping of manufacturing processes and implement efficiencies identified. Primary Duties: Ability to thoroughly investigate/ perform root cause analysis, identify potential issues and propose solutions through verbal and written communication;  Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems; Ability to apply common sense understanding and knowledge of when to stop and seek input and approval from management; Partner with MS&T, OE, and Manufacturing to solve process and equipment related problems What will be the impact of having a resource to support this activity? Impact to this resource allocation will be implementation of efficiencies identified during Value Stream Mapping exercise with OE   Position Requirements Requirements: Knowledgeable of application and practices of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Technical writing skills preferred. Effective presentation skills. Strong Microsoft application tools proficiency (MS Teams, Word, Excel) Good organizational skills, Situational Leadership Decision making skills Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0+   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Frederick, MD   This position is currently not accepting applications.
