Description

We are currently seeking any sophmore, junior or senior who is working towards obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Engineering, Public Health Science, or other science related field. This position is for a Manufacturing Technical Operations Intern within the manufacturing department.

Objective:

Partnering with Manufacturing and MS&T to collect data required for prep size reduction and optimization opportunities. This may include authoring and approving risk assessments to extend expiration dates for buffer solutions used onsite.  The main goal is to optimize commercialized buffer solutions.

Primary Duties:

  • Ability to thoroughly investigate/ perform root cause analysis, identify potential issues and propose solutions through verbal and written communication; 
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of practical problems;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding and knowledge of when to stop and seek input and approval from management;
  • Partner with MS&T and Manufacturing to solve process and equipment related problems
 
Position Requirements
  • Knowledgeable of application and practices of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Technical writing skills preferred.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft application tools proficiency (MS Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Good organizational skills, Situational Leadership
  • Decision making skills
  • GPA 3.0+
