Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for daily management and administration of primary contractor's case management system (CMS) as it relates to a U.S. Government developed and maintained information platform. The Government's information platform contains, but is not limited to, a database of end users (Guests) with associated documents (flat files) and image data (BLOB files) such as government identification which includes related personal data such as name, date of birth, etc.. The contractor's CMS platform is a cloud-based solution that will assist with organizing and managing the Guest data; pushing and pulling of Guest data; and tracking Guest progress through the pre-defined case life cycle. This contractor-controlled CMS has existing engineering support; however, the candidate is expected to gain an expert understanding of the CMS from an administrator perspective, end user standpoint, and integration perspective with the government-controlled platform. The candidate will leverage the understanding gained to share knowledge with the project team throughout the learning and discovery process. In the project's near future, an application programming interface (API) will be developed to safely and effectively transfer data and information between platforms. The candidate will not be responsible for the API development but must have a deep understanding of the interface and be able to articulate the contractor-developed API and related processes to any customer representatives and/or contractor representatives in project coordination meetings.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop an expert understanding of the government's system and share that understanding with the contractor's project team.
  • Serve as the project's technical point person for 'expert system use' with a mission critical focus on Guest data transmission to include extraction, transformation and data loads (ETL).
  • The candidate will develop an understanding of how to exchange Guest information between the two separate platforms and in both directions.
  • Manage the project team's case management system effectively and evolving requirements.
  • Accountable for the contractor developed and maintained information platform, and any ETL from the government system as well as data transmissions back to the government system.
  • Performs a variety of project administration support services involving data review, reporting, project coordination, budget review, and other related duties in support of the Project/Program Manager.
  • Provides support to the Project/Program Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring projects through its life cycle.
  • Works on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables.
  • Briefs management on the status of action items and metrics to track contract performance.
  • Coordinates projects; develops system for data collection, reporting criteria and records; researches and compiles statistics and data for projects; may assist in writing narratives for reports.
  • Monitors project timeline; tracks document submissions; creates, monitors and maintains audit files.
  • Identifies, communicates and resolves risks.
  • Identifies and resolves issues to eliminate or mitigate the occurrence of consequences that may impact the success of the project.
  • For program compliance, designs and implements procedures to fulfill project objectives and criteria; may prepare memorandums; works with agencies to resolve concerns and issues.
  • Prepares monthly variance reports with associated footnotes.
  • Evaluates and monitors the performance and efficiency of programs to ensure that program implementation is on target.
