Description

The Director is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of all buildings and facilities. He/she will work closely with campus partners to design and oversee development of projects emerging from the campus master plan. The Director ensures that all facilities are in optimal condition to support the educational programs and school/community activities in a clean, well maintained, safe environment.

 
Position Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior-level facilities management, construction management, or operations management, preferably within an educational institution.
  • Experience working on multiple projects with varying deadlines and a proven record of strong project and time management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of software applications including MS-Office and Google applications, work order systems, scheduling and project management tools.
  • Superior communication skills – oral and written – with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated success in timely, efficient project management and budget oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a diverse staff.
  • Commitment to the traditions and philosophy of a Quaker educational community and a collaborative working style.
