A CNA completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. A communication and interactions with patients, residents, families and other health team members is an essential component of this position. Shift differential pay. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Must have current Wisconsin Nursing Aid Certification in good standing. Must have good communication skills, Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Previous experience providing personal care to impaired individuals in a health care setting. CPR certified. Implements plan of care based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs. Provides direct parient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN Demonstrates knowledge of, and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions Interacts effectively with individuals who are cognitively and/or physically impaired Actively maintains the confidentiality of resident and facility information Demonstrates respect for co-workers and responds to needs of residents by complying with facility policies on attendance and punctuality. Arrives and begins work on time Has working knowledge and ability to comply with facility policies on attendance and procedures, application of universal precautions for bloodborne pathogens, use of personal protective equipment and handlling of hazardous materials. Demonstrates time management and prioritizations of tasks.
