Family & Childrens Center (FCC) is seeking qualified persons to provide temporary respite care to youth with high needs, including behavioral/emotional difficulties and physical/developmental disabilities. Respite providers play an important role in helping facilitate effective treatment for children and add stability to the family by helping to prevent burnout. FCCs Community Respite Program works in partnership with La Crosse County Human Services to serve children involved in the Special Needs program. Respite is not meant to replace other specialized services or care, but rather to support services already in place.
