Community Respite Provider

Description

Family & Childrens Center (FCC) is seeking qualified persons to provide temporary respite care to youth with high needs, including behavioral/emotional difficulties and physical/developmental disabilities. Respite providers play an important role in helping facilitate effective treatment for children and add stability to the family by helping to prevent burnout. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass criminal and caregiver background checks.

FCCs Community Respite Program works in partnership with La Crosse County Human Services to serve children involved in the Special Needs program. Respite is not meant to replace other specialized services or care, but rather to support services already in place.

This is an Independent Contractor position.

Please do not fill out the application online.

For more information or to apply, please contact the Community Respite Program at 608-785-0001 and or by email to Kelli Degenhardt at kdegenhardt@fccnetwork.org.
