For more information please visit www.astrazeneca.com .   Description Location: Frederick, MD We are currently seeking undergraduate seniors (rising or graduating) working towards obtaining a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sciences, or Engineering for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2022. Objectives/Goals of the Internship: Help with daily routine Scheduling activities releasing PO’s in SAP.  Help with project activity for F&E schedule adherence metrics (data collection) and Play book template (WIP).  Identify slow moving inventory and potential inventory obsolescence.  Drive improvements to Operations Planning/Site S&OP Meeting . Primary Duties: Provide scheduling support and lean improvement activities. Deliver tools that the SCO team can use on an ongoing basis. Design final presentation and provide recommendations.     Position Requirements Rising or graduating undergraduate seniors pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sciences, or Engineering. Analytical and communication skills.  Excel, Word, and general computer skills.  Self-management (prioritization, time management and focus).  Basic understanding of Supply Chain & Lean concepts.  Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
