Program Manager / Cost Estimator (PMP)

We are looking for an experienced Project Management Professional to join our team in Arlington, VA supporting our DoD customer. The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide program acquisition support, including Acquisition Strategy and Acquisition Plans.
  • Evaluate and propose acquisition process improvements.
  • Evaluate production and engineering service cost proposals.
  • Provide engineering cost studies/estimates.
  • Conduct technical/cost/financial risk analyses and make recommendations.
  • Develop share formulas and analyze proposals for work-share management.
  • Utilize automated Standard Procurement System for entering procurement requests. Assist Technical Advisory Reports.
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • DAWIA PM Level III 
  • Ten (10) years' experience with DoD program management
  • Supervisory experience; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel.
  • Experience managing complex cost estimates, evaluating proposals and writing Technical Advisory Reports (TARs) or equivalent cost evaluation reports and acquisition management including creating Procurement Requests and associated acquisition documentation
  • Must have/hold an Active Secret security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Desired Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline
  • Fifteen (15) or more years' program management experience in a similar DoD Program
