Job Summary This position is responsible for coordinating the MLB Authentication program as it pertains to daily game collections, inventory management and sales processing. The role is also responsible for product management of organizational promotions items and premiums, as well as assisting with departmental events and executions supporting marketing and fan engagement efforts. Responsibilities Primary: Coordinate the execution of the MLB/Pirates Authentication program by working with clubhouse and authentication staff on item collection and distribution Plan and execute weekly auctions on pirates.com to maximize revenue from authentics Assist and collaborate with Pirates Charities and community on key events utilizing autographed memorabilia to fundraise Serve as primary liason with Hunt Auctions, including the collection of game used and autograph items for sale at the Hunt ballpark kiosk and other related events; assisting Hunt staff with game day operations; manage communication between Hunt and internal departments such as Corporate Sales and Accounting. Manage the MLB Authetication program, including authentication game-day staff, and overseeing coordination between different departments including Operations and Clubhouse Manage Pirates authentics email as it relates to response to customers and executing sales Coordinate memorabilia room inventory Coordinate tracking and delivery of game day giveaways, including game-day gate management. Oversee off-site inventory for marketing, sales and community storage needs Oversee the distribution of excess promotional inventory for staff Fulfillment of promotion requests made by staff via the donation request system Responsible for day-to-day management of our Promo Storage Warehouse Assist with the set-up, tear down and event supervision of our Pirates event booth at external events and at PNC Park. Other duties as assigned within the Marketing, Promotions & Fan Engagement team Secondary: Assist with alumni events when needed. Assist with additional marketing events when needed.   Position Requirements Required: Bachelor’s Degree in business or similar field of study Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite product Minimum 1 year of office experience Desired: Accounting, purchasing, retail, or authentics experience   Location Pittsburgh, PA   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   This position is currently not accepting applications.
