Share Email Opening Title Formosa Group Intern - Summer 2022 (Gold Rising)  Description Summary: This internship is with Formosa Group and is part of the Gold Rising Program, an 8-week internship enhancement program that incorporates learning opportunities including an intensive two-day orientation, weekly panels, exclusive networking events, workshops, screenings, and mentorship opportunities with Academy members. Formosa Group (part of Streamland Media), industry’s leading creative innovator in post-production sound, is looking for an intern interested in all areas of post sound. The internship program will include a wide variety of day-to-day responsibilities and assisting award-winning talent across multiple facilities in the Los Angeles area and all divisions: Features, Broadcast, Interactive, and Commercials. This allows for a broad range of exposure and a better overall comprehension of the sound process. The Perks: An opportunity to work with top talent in the industry. Being part of the full post-production sound process from field recording and editorial to the Re-Recording mix stage.       Position Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities: Interns will have the opportunity to participate in every aspect of post-production sound including: Field Recording / Sound Library ADR and Voice Over Recording sessions Spotting sessions and creating cue sheets Sound Editing and Sound Design Music Production Re-Recording Mixing Assist Supervising Sound Editors, Mixers and staff. Qualifications: Prefer students studying below-the-line post-production. Proven interest in post-production sound. Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
