Perform product evaluations and confirm that they are performed to client specifications. Ensure excellent customer service by providing timely completions of Certificates of Analysis and responses to customer communications and inquiries.



Interact with product evaluation clients and ensure satisfaction with excellent customer service and meeting turnaround time

Coordinate product orders and pickups from distribution centers

Create Certificates of Analysis, collect and report critical data

Complete data transfers while adhering to client specifications

Apply aseptic techniques in daily workload

Inventory and report expendable supplies/materials needed for testing requirements

Provide routine preventive maintenance by daily cleaning, sanitizing, and trash disposal

Independently pursue an assigned series of processes, procedures, or techniques in accordance with FSNS policies/procedures and customer requirements.

Perform all activities in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner. Maintain a neat, safe, and hygienic test kitchen as well as laboratory conditions to include equipment, supplies, quality assurance programs, and accurate records throughout all procedures

Share information in an open and timely manner

Conduct product evaluation following detailed specifications as needed for each customer

Assisting with managing priorities and schedule such that individual goals, as well as team goals, are achieved with encouraged participation in the Food Safety Net Services Team

Responsible for the safety of oneself and others working within their area

Responsible for the completion of required training



This role has no supervisory responsibilities

Position Requirements


  • High School diploma or GED

    Working knowledge of aseptic sampling technique and acceptable methods and procedures

    Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of a food

    Or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Ability to travel as needed



    Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands and arms, talk and hear

    Lift up to 50 pounds. Lift and reach repetitively

    Color vision and depth perception

    Must be able to withstand heat and operate restaurant-grade kitchen appliances

    Potential exposure to odors, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, and microbiological pathogens

    Noise level varies from quiet to loud

    Temperature varies from hot to cold

    Interactive and fast-paced team oriented tasks
