Share Email Opening Title Supervisor   Description Seeking to hire a Supervisor for the Life Set program Job summary Responsible for serving as the direct Supervisor for the team of 4 to 5 Specialists The Supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies and applicable laws Provides clinical direction to the Specialists based on the therapeutic model Weekly case review and facilitation of the group supervision process Overseeing service plan development and ensuring case progress Have access to an online portal that contains evidence-based and best practices to inform case conceptualization and service plan review Ensures documentation and contractual requirements are met.  Assists with coverage for Specialists when needed (e.g. vacations and sick leaves). Supports staff when attending court and meetings and conducts field supervision to ensure Specialist competency. The young adults have access to 24/7 on call. The Supervisor will be included in an on call rotation and is expected to provide instruction to the Specialist and offer in person support, if needed Manages the professional development of each Specialist by completing a development plan and conducting individual supervision meetings Involved in the hiring and performance management of Specialists Providing support and assistance to the team Reviewing service receipt and documentation Planning, assigning, and directing work and collaborating with internal and external customers.  Work will be in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Morris and Essex county   Position Requirements   Qualifications Master’s degree in field of social work, psychology or other directly related human services field with experience is preferred Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years of experience in social services required A valid driver’s license and must be insurable under Agency automobile insurance   CPNJ embraces a culture of diversity and inclusion in all of it policies and procedures.
